Poll Everywhere for Google Slides

When it works it's great, but honestly the amount of time I spend dealing with trying to get the extension to work properly when it suddenly stops functioning in slides makes me wish I had never invested my time in this system in the first place. Only the fact that all of my activities are already in here keeps me from starting over with a different system

This generally works quite well and I love the expandable QR code, which the students seem to favor over installing the app on their phones. I ran into the same problem reported by a few others, that the "insert slide" function stopped working in Google Slides. I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling the Chrome extension, while simultaneously making sure my Chrome version was up to date. Now back up and running again!

While the PollEverywhere function is fantastic if utilised perfectly, it can cause issues when encountering errors, especially for first time users. My experience was similar to many others on this review board, encountering many hurdles which hindered my ability to create poll activities. However, I strongly recommend anyone else facing difficulties to simply contact the support team at PollEverywhere via email. I had a pleasant time working with one of the members of their support team, Ryan Phung, to resolve my issues and get a presentation up and running seamlessly. I was able to achieve the intended purpose of using their service. As for PollEverywhere itself, I prefer it over other live polling website for the simplicity and modernity of the interface, and its ability to receive live feedback during presentations. There are also many options for customisation, such as permissions as to who are able to respond, ability to lock and review polls live, as well as many presets for different presentations.
