Javascript Control Firefox

Javascript Control

Add a button in the url bar to block or enable javascript per-site. Default is javascript disabled.

Features & Capabilities

Javascript Control is a handy Chrome extension that adds a toggle button to the URL bar, letting you block or enable Javascript on a per-site basis. By default, Javascript is disabled to improve your browsing security and control over web content. With a simple click, you can enable Javascript for trusted sites without navigating through complex settings.

While the extension supports Chrome fully, users should note that on Firefox for Android, some icon functionalities are limited due to platform restrictions; however, the core Javascript blocking feature remains effective. This extension is ideal for users looking for fine-grained control over Javascript execution to boost privacy and security while browsing.

User Reviews

Doesn't correctly inform sites that javascript is disabled, which means that sites like duckduckgo that can serve content without javascript (when they detect that JS is disabled) fail to render anything.

Awesome addon, 99% of all sites I visit, use Javascript. I wish Erwan Ameil would allow a person to set the default to Enabled.
