Medical eligibility criteria for the use of contraceptives inserted in an agile algorithm.

WHO algorithm calculation
Intuitive selection of parameters, inclusion of additional clinical conditions, score system based on medical eligibility criteria for contraceptive use and verification of the risk category associated with the use of contraceptive methods currently available in Italy.

The result obtained allows the clinician to evaluate, on a scale of 1 to 4, the risk levels associated with the different contraceptive methods:
1 - No restrictions on the use of the method
2 - The advantages resulting from the use of the method overcome the disadvantages
3 - The use of the method is usually inadvisable unless other more appropriate methods are not available or accepted
4 - Method not to be used
