We are all athletically "different", and part of this difference is the result of our genetic profile. Genetically, there are differences we all see, such as eye and hair color, but there are also differences we don't "see":
1) The way we metabolize nutrients
2) The way and the speed with which we treat - we eliminate the toxins
3) The way we react to different types of exercise
4) The way we interact with the environment
From an organizational point of view, sport-genomics focuses not on the prejudices related to this or that training method, but on the hypothetical "individual" response to the various types of training based on the information obtained from the genetic test.
The total genotype score (TGS), starting from the alleles associated with endurance or sprint / power performance, builds an accelerometer assigning percentages from 0 to 100, where 0 represents the presence of all unfavorable polymorphisms and 100 the presence of all optimal polymorphisms ... investigate if the athlete is in possession of the polygenetic profiles by sport discipline based on the associated sequences and not on the performance categories.
It tells you how much and how to train using "your method" of work, studies the best response to the training you are supporting by planning both volume and intensity over time ... it cannot tell you which method is best for you.
Knowing in advance if we recover quickly or not, which areas of our body are most at risk when we push it to the max… seems to me a very important thing. How many injuries could be avoided? … With a great saving of money, time and psycho-physical frustrations!
