May 11, 2024 I released "URL Shortener for Amazon Classic" on the Chrome Web Store. This version is based on "URL Shortener for Amazon" version 1.2.2 and has been configured with permissions that prevent it from operating on sites other than Amazon. If you prefer not to have the extension operate outside of Amazon, please use this version.

This extension shortens URLs for individual Amazon product pages, Prime Video pages, and customer review pages, and copies them to the clipboard along with the page title if needed. For non-Amazon pages, URL shortening is not performed, but copying the URL and page title is still possible. Additionally, the extension offers an option to remove query parameters from URLs.

To use it, right-click on the target page and select the option to generate a shortened URL from the context menu, which also allows you to copy the title. Additionally, shortcut keys can be set for each function, enabling quick operations.

(In the update on March 21, 2024 to comply with Manifest V3, I added the permission to copy URLs to the clipboard. As a result, users who have already installed the extension may find it temporarily disabled. I apologize for the inconvenience.)

Very handy, and just what I was looking for =) It's simple and I quite like it. I will say, perhaps the words "right-click on a product page" should be the first thing in the extension description. That's what I needed to know right away, but then it was straightforward. It's nice having the "Copy product title" option too
