XR Phone Server

XR Phone Server is the phone-side app that lets an Android XR headset mirror and control your Android 14+ phone. It captures your screen and playback audio and streams them to the paired headset, then accepts remote touch so you can use your phone from inside XR.

Everything runs over your own local Wi-Fi network with an encrypted, pinned connection. There are no cloud servers, no accounts, and no analytics. Your screen never leaves your network.

WHAT IT DOES
• Captures your screen with MediaProjection (you approve each session)
• Streams playback (media/game) audio — the microphone is never opened
• Runs a secure TLS server for a single authenticated headset
• Applies remote touch, scroll, navigation, and text from the headset

HOW IT WORKS
1. Install this app on your Android 14+ phone.
2. Enable the accessibility service for remote control.
3. Approve screen and audio sharing.
4. Show the QR code and scan it with XR Phone Viewer on your headset.

• One-time pairing token exchanged via QR code

• Never forwards calls, alarms, notifications, or microphone input
