Remote Host for VNC Android

Remote Host for VNC

Private Android screen sharing with encrypted and reverse VNC connections.

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Turn your Android device into a private VNC server and view or control it from a standards-compatible client over a network path you control.

Remote Host for VNC is built for direct, user-controlled screen sharing. There are no accounts, advertisements, analytics, tracking SDKs, or developer-operated relay servers.

KEY FEATURES

• Share an Android 14+ screen over the standard RFB/VNC protocol
• Accept incoming connections or connect outward to a listening client
• Require fail-closed RA2-256 authenticated encryption
• Verify a persistent server identity with a copyable fingerprint
• Stream responsive damage-based updates at up to 30 FPS
• Negotiate JPEG, Tight, ZRLE, Hextile, or Raw encoding
• Support multiple connected clients and screen rotation
• Optionally synchronize plain-text clipboard content
• Optionally enable remote touch and keyboard input
• Stop sharing instantly from the app, notification, or Android system controls

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Connections are made directly between devices you choose. Screen content, remote input, clipboard text, and connection details are not sent to Pikcn Technologies. The app has no cloud account, telemetry, advertising, or bundled runtime third-party libraries.

SECURE DEFAULTS

Play release builds require RA2-256 authenticated encryption. Remote control and clipboard synchronization are off until you explicitly enable them. Encryption fails closed and never silently falls back to plaintext.

OPTIONAL REMOTE CONTROL

Remote control uses an Android Accessibility service only after you read an in-app disclosure and enable the service in Android settings. It executes remote input only while screen sharing is active. Focused-field information used transiently for requested text entry is not sent to Pikcn or retained.

PLATFORM PRIVACY

Android decides which content can be captured. Protected content may be blanked, and Android may stop projection when the device locks. Remote Host for VNC does not bypass these protections.

Requires Android 14 or newer. A separate standards-compatible RFB/VNC client is required on the viewing device.
