The purpose of the app is to provide event producers with a customized and tailored experience for their participants. Event producers can customize the application’s core features to give participants information on their event. Some of the core functionalities that event producers can customize include an event schedule, sponsors of the event, locations to visit at the event and
an interactive check-in feature that uses QR code throughout the event space to encourage exploration within the event space. These QR code check-ins reward participants with “Carats”, a virtual currency system that enables the event organizers to conduct prize giveaways at the event, with larger numbers of “Carats” rewarding larger prizes.
