Athlete-X

The Athlete-X app is where athletes complete their check-ins.

It does one thing. Your coach sets the schedule, the app lets you know
when a check-in is due, and you answer a short set of questions. It
usually takes about two minutes.

Everything else in Athlete-X, including your profile and your coach's
view of the team, lives in the web app at athlete-x.io.

WHAT YOU'RE ASKED

The questions cover the whole athlete, not only the training:

• Body: how ready you felt, sleep, soreness, energy, training load,
and fueling
• Mind: your mood, and how life outside sport is going
• Drive: your motivation, and whether you feel on track with your goals
• Belonging: how connected you feel to your team

If something is bothering you physically, you can add it: where it is,
what kind, and how much it hurts. If nothing is, you skip that part.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Your answers go to your team's coaching staff, so they know how you're
doing between sessions. Your coach reviews them in Athlete-X on the web.

BEFORE YOU START

You need an Athlete-X account and a team that has added you. Accounts
are created at athlete-x.io, and the app will take you there. Sign in,
and any check-in waiting for you appears on the home screen.

Check-ins are part of a paid Athlete-X plan, either your own or one your
organization covers.

Available in English and French.

Athlete-X is not a medical service. Check-ins are self-reported and are
meant to start a conversation with your coach. They are not used to
diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition.
