PaisaNest is a local-first expense tracker built for India. Turn bank and UPI transaction SMS into clear spending records, review your money at a glance, and choose whether you want cloud backup.

TRACK TRANSACTIONS FROM SMS
• Tap Scan when you want PaisaNest to review recent transaction messages on your device.
• Bank and UPI transaction alerts are identified locally. There is no background SMS listener.
• OTPs, personal messages and other non-transaction messages are ignored and are not saved as transaction records.
• Review scanned transactions before they are included in your balance and insights.
• Prefer not to grant SMS access? Add expenses and income manually instead.

OPTIONAL ACCOUNT AND CLOUD BACKUP
• Core expense tracking works without signing in.
• Sign in with an eligible Indian mobile number only if you want cloud backup and restore.
• Back up your saved transaction records when you choose. A backup may include transaction details, notes, references, counterparties and saved transaction-message text.
• Restore your transaction backup on another installation or device after confirmation.
• Clear your cloud transaction backup separately without deleting local records or closing your account.

LOCAL-ONLY DETAILS
• Add an optional approximate location to a transaction. Saved transaction locations remain on your device and are not included in PaisaNest cloud backup or CSV export.
• Attach receipt images through the system camera or photo picker. PaisaNest does not request direct camera access or broad photo and storage permissions.
• Receipt images and budgets are not included in PaisaNest cloud backup.

PRIVACY AND CONTROL

Online services are used only for features that need them, including optional account access, cloud backup and install attribution. Adjust is used to understand app installation attribution and may process device and attribution information as described in the Privacy Policy.
