Maris

MARIS is an application developed to provide visibility, support participatory management, and strengthen research and monitoring of shellfish gatherers working in the Costa dos Corais Environmental Protection Area (APA).

Through the platform, it is possible to register information such as data on collected shellfish, collection points, and sale prices, which facilitates the work of researchers and teams that monitor these traditional communities.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

MARIS integrates technology and applied research to enhance the registration, management, and analysis of data from shellfish gatherer communities in the region. The tool organizes the collected information and supports the production of knowledge about these populations and their relationship with the coastal ecosystem.

This application is intended for the exclusive use of shellfish gatherers and authorized teams linked to the project.
