MPDluxe is a remote controller for MPD, an open-source networked music playing system which can run on a variety of UNIX- and Linux-based systems. MPDluxe allows you to browse the music collection and saved playlists on the MPD server, play, pause and skip tracks, add tracks to and edit the current playlist, search the MPD database and control the playback mode. MPDluxe can handle music collections of any size, and is ready to work as soon as it connects to the MPD server.

The only viable solution for Chord 2go Was ready to return all of my Chord setup until I have stumbled upon this app. Please implement the album cover function to make it 5 stars. More than happy to pay $9.95 for it with cover art. The only MPD controller on the market NOT to intrude on the data play chain. Others say they don’t but they do. Album cover art, please!

I recently switched from android to apple phone. The android mpd client apps let me browse by artist or album or genre... by reading tags I assume. Wish I could do that in MPDluxe! Today it only browses the physical file system alas.

Very stable and lets me access my collection painlessly. Tried all the other clients available for iOS. Probably works best if your music is properly organized into directories.
