The app seems okay, I like that it offers many languages. The lessons are all over the place and could be better organized and more flexible. Mondly could also easily offer lesson plans based on the users goal. I am learning for travel yet I end up sifting through unrelated and generally unhelpful content. Having focused learning plans seems like it would be pretty easy and would make the app so much better. The app is frustrating at times with its speech recognition, or lack of. I’ve recorded the app saying a word and played the recorded back and the app won’t recognize the word. The deeper I get the more I run into words the AI simply won’t pick up on. This wastes time and is frustrating. There is also a real lack of conversational content that’s not scripted. I’ve downloaded a second app for that. This app seems like it has a good start but it’s also really lacking essential features. Better than Duolingo but then what’s not?
