Users repeatedly complain that Kakao T is unreliable: it crashes or lags, allows or causes overcharging by drivers, and is difficult to use for foreigners due to language, registration, and verification hurdles. Location accuracy and driver-finding issues compound the frustration, and onboarding can require multiple apps. While it aims to be an all-in-one mobility solution (taxi and bike), reliability and user experience are inconsistent and improvements are needed in payments, localization, and navigation.

This app works really well for taxis. I use the k.ride one for foreigners. It’s extremely easy and I’ve had no problem with payments or overcharges. It works well for e-bikes too.
