The k.ride app is frequently unreliable, with crashes and location errors, plus reports of inflated fares for foreigners, limited coverage and booking issues, and payment problems. Pros

User-friendly and easy to use.
Can be faster than Uber at finding a taxi when it works.

Inaccurate pickup/destination/location data (blue dot mislocations, address search issues).

Payment method issues and poor customer support (card not accepted; no help with disputes).

App doesn’t work, super slow, makes you type in address’ over and over, glitchy, pickup / current location almost always wrong etc. just use Uber

The app works by having the taxi drivers input the metered fare at the end of the trip but there is nothing to verify it so the drivers will charge double as soon as you leave the taxi and you’ll get stuck with the charge on the app. It’s even worse that there is absolutely no way to dispute any charges on the app. It’s a perfect app for taxi drivers to rip off unsuspecting foreigners. Use Uber instead which will hail a taxi with your destination the same way and you can pay in person to make sure you are paying the correct metered amount.
