Asked for help to upload documents for a dispute on the podium platform was give a run around and that have to only uploaded on the portal and the support staff could not help. Making the customer work for everything

Podium has definitely had its ups and downs for our small landscaping business. There are positives to the platform, and it has helped organize communication and reviews better than normal texting in some ways, but we’ve also noticed several areas where it significantly lacks. One of the biggest issues is reliability in areas with poor cellular reception. When working out in the field, it can become almost impossible to send texts or images. If a message fails to send, there also seems to be a bug where the app continuously shows the message trying to send indefinitely, especially with photos attached. We’ve also run into frustrations with character limits causing longer client messages to split into multiple texts, which wasn’t an issue when using standard iPhone messaging. Phone calls through the app can also be difficult depending on jobsite location and service quality. There are additional features we wish Podium offered for contractors and field service businesses, especially considering how expensive the platform is. Overall, it has benefits, but there is definitely room for improvement, particularly for companies that work in the field all day rather than behind a desk.
