A must for professionals

I’m in marching band and used this app to help memorize my music. When using the ‘Turn sheet music into audio’ feature on a 4/4 score for 4 bass drums, the generated audio consistently skips every half rest instead of holding it for two beats. The notation displays correctly in the PDF, but the AI playback ignores the rests.
But besides this everything else seems to be working fine.

Newzik feels like the road less traveled in the world of sheet music apps, and honestly it’s a beautiful road! While another app gets most of the attention, music quietly delivers a cleaner, more modern experience that just makes sense. The interface is elegant without being fussy, and everything from set lists to annotations feels thoughtfully designed. Switching between Mac and iOS is seamless, and in actual rehearsal or performance, it’s rock solid, and gets out of your way.
What really won me over is how powerful it is without ever feeling cluttered. You get deep annotation tools, flexible, organization, and smart features like collaborative scores, but it all stays intuitive and focused. It feels like an app built by people who actually understand musicians. If you’re willing to step off the beaten path, Newzik is easily one of the most rewarding music apps out there.
The app is being constantly updated and improved, and the Support team is top-notch. There’s no reason to look elsewhere.
