User Reviews

Reviewers repeatedly highlight Password Boss as a solid cross-device password manager with convenient cross-platform sync, an easy-to-use interface, and strong data handling (passwords, notes, even credit cards) along with form autofill and 2FA/sharing capabilities. However, several users report instability: bugs, crashes, and particularly inconsistent or failing synchronization across Mac, iPad, and desktop. Site compatibility and a flaky built-in browser are noted, and some users experience incorrect 2FA codes or unresponsive support. Overall, good value but reliability and cross-device synchronization remain key concerns.
Pros
  • Reliable cross-device sync across multiple platforms
  • Easy to use with an intuitive interface and strong data management
  • Autofill and form-filling across websites/apps, plus storage for notes and cards
  • 2FA support and secure sharing for teams/organizations
  • Affordable pricing with strong value (free or inexpensive options)
Cons
  • Frequent stability issues: bugs, crashes, and overall unreliability
  • Inconsistent or broken cross-device syncing (old/incorrect credentials across devices)
  • Issues with browser integration and site compatibility (built-in browser outdated, bank sites failing)
  • 2FA codes sometimes incorrect and support response is slow or unhelpful

I’ve used this app for several years. Across 3 different devices. No problems, and cross platform sync is convenient.

I've used Password Boss for 3 years now and it's been solid. Multiple devices, no hiccups. Was up to 500 passwords. Folders, sharing, 2fa, everything you need! My company even uses it now!

The app is rarely updated, loaded with bugs and lacks many features of its competitors. Read reviews of password managers before selecting this one. Don’t make the same mistake I made.
