Cons

Poor and hard-to-reach customer support (no direct phone number, limited contact options, slow responses).
Frequent app outages and reliability issues (weeks-long downtime, login problems, slow/unresponsive performance).
Limited in-app device management and account control (cannot add/remove devices easily; no multi-device sign-in; hard cancellation and ordering items).
Cancellation and account termination are hard to do via the app (often require calling).
Video clip features are unreliable (short clips, not usable for evidence).

Recent reviews

The app does not reflect the true state of the hardware settings. And there is no way to force the app to update. Terrible technology for an alarm system that charges this much and a false alarm fee due to inaccurate app/hardware readings will be expensive mistake that Frontpoint doesn’t seem to want to fix their system?

Cancelling is like cancelling a gym membership. It requires multiple steps including a phone call and an email in which you have repeat an example prompt. It’s absurd.

I have had a Frontpoint system for years. Had no problem until recently. I had a thief in my home and went to check my camera to see who it was. Could not see any footage because I didn’t do an update which I was not informed about that I had to do. No email, phone call, text, nothing. Even having called about checking my equipment working recently I was told nothing by Frontpoint. Poor communication on their part.
