User Reviews

Opus One offers a robust, Franklin Covey–style digital planner with strong Apple-device syncing and an all-in-one system, plus solid support and a clean UI. Its main drawbacks are recurring syncing reliability issues, occasional stability problems, and a lack of Windows support, along with a learning curve for new users. For former Franklin Covey fans on iOS, it remains a top, mature choice despite ongoing reliability frustrations.
Pros
  • Comprehensive, all-in-one planner that integrates tasks, notes, appointments, and goals, aligned with the Franklin Covey methodology.
  • Strong Apple ecosystem support with cross-device syncing across iPhone and iPad via cloud sync.
  • Responsive customer support that replies quickly and fixes issues promptly.
  • Clean, easy-to-navigate interface that makes daily planning practical.
  • Longstanding, proven solution for former Franklin Covey users with ongoing improvements.
Cons
  • Ongoing syncing/reliability issues and occasional crashes affecting usability.
  • No Windows version; Mac/iOS only limits cross-platform use.
  • Not immediately intuitive for new users and can require training or guidance to master.

I had a syncing issue recently that I wrote to customer service about. They replied same day and issued a fix within hours!

For anyone that grew up on the Franklin Covey planner system, this is fantastic! It works on all my iOS devices which makes it great if you are an Apple user. The only downside is it isn’t compatible with windows. I’ve had so many colleagues wish they could use it but they aren’t Mac users.
