However, widespread reliability and licensing problems undermine the experience: frequent crashes and freezes, loss or non-retention of purchased expansions across devices, limited multitimbral split/layer capabilities, and compatibility issues with AUv3 hosts and iPadOS. Some patches also lack drawbars or flexible editing. Overall, the sound is top-tier, but stability and license handling need attention.

Frequent crashes and instability during gigs and regular use (freezes, memory issues, AUv3/AUM crashes).
Purchases and expansions are not reliably retained or transferable across devices; some disappear after updates; restoration steps required.
Limited multitimbrality and split/layer capabilities (only two parts) and lacking more advanced layering like 5-8 zones.
Compatibility issues with AUv3, AUM, Cubasis, and iPadOS versions; weaker detection/loading across hosts.

I couldn’t give it any more stars, as I am really miffed at KORG. I purchase the add-ons, paying a lot of money for the in-app purchases, and KORG arbitrarily deletes them from the available page. Fine, then refund us,, don’t just keep the money and discontinue.. not cool

Hi Korg I really love the pure guitar magic but can you guys give us the pure guitar magic sounds with no effects just the clean version of each guitar in korg modules and in Santa Ana where we can put our own effects and give us possibilities in korg modules to mixe 6 to 8 different sound together and level them too however we want and thank you korg modules team keep up the good works guys.
