Features & Capabilities

  • Make A Pose lets you intuitively pose a character. You can rotate the blue joint handle beneath the screen to adjust joints, and non-uniformly scale each part for natural poses. Save up to 9 poses, pose with objects, and share screenshots. You can also adjust the light direction to alter shadows for reference only.

  • Remove Ads unlocks extra features: Undo/Redo, access to new characters (Female and Horse) with multiple variants, pose up to 6 characters at once, customize colors for objects and background, and set a background from Camera or Photos. If you encounter problems, contact waci11@163.com.

User Reviews

Make A Pose offers strong free-to-use posing and reference features, with easy controls, a useful save function, and adjustable body parts for realistic references. However, its downsides include paid access for female models, ads, stability issues, a learning curve, and limited model variety. Overall, it’s a capable reference tool that excels in posing and proportions but is hampered by monetization and maintenance concerns.
Pros
  • Free base app for drawing/reference
  • Easy to pose with intuitive controls
  • Save poses for reuse
  • Resizable body parts and adjustable proportions
  • Realistic proportions and ability to import objects for reference
Cons
  • Female character is locked behind a paywall (requires extra purchase)
  • Ads are intrusive unless you pay to remove them
  • Bugs and instability (crashes/glitches) and lack of an undo option
  • Learning curve / clunky UI for new users
  • Limited model variety and features (desire for more animals, more diverse models)

So I think it’s great! But it does LOOK old it’s great because you can pose it to look at it then draw. Plus it’s free. I think it’s such a steal!

So I haven’t played very long but this game is very nice!! My only thought is maybe some model versions could have a face? Especially if you’re using this as a template or something for drawing it’d be a lil easier to draw a face when you have something to go off of. Other than that, great game so far and family friendly!!

It’s a little clunky and there’s a bit of a learning curve, but it’s easy enough to use and has just enough models to cover what you need without looking up references for specific things. It would be handy if you could just drag the limbs sometimes and make the feet stick to the ground like in Magic Poser, but I understand that’s probably not easy to implement. I do also wish there was an option to have a somewhat more detailed model to show muscle groups and face proportions even if you had to pay for it, but other than that it’s perfect for what it is. I would also kill for a dog/cat and a wing model. It’s cool that you can change the size of individual body parts and mess around with the shape of objects to make props and I LOVE the feature that lets you lock an item to a joint so you can keep an object in a model’s hand while moving the arm! I went ahead and payed to remove ads bc this app deserves the money anyways tbh
