User Reviews

Clockmaker: Match-3 Puzzles has fun, engaging puzzles and solid gameplay, but is plagued by pervasive ads and monetization that pressure purchases. technical glitches and connectivity issues further frustrate players, with some feeling the game is rigged to push spending. The core puzzle experience remains entertaining for those who can tolerate the ads and costs.
Pros
  • Fun and engaging match-3 puzzles.
  • Puzzles are enjoyable and can be challenging.
  • Enjoyable overall gameplay that keeps players engaged.
Cons
  • Excessive and intrusive ads that disrupt gameplay.
  • Heavy monetization with frequent prompts to buy gems/coins; feels pay-to-win.
  • Technical issues including glitches, crashes, and connectivity problems.
  • Some players perceive levels/events as designed to push purchases (rigged feel).

I’ve been playing this game off and on for years. I’ve previously walked away when the difficulty level was over the top (and levels were impossible to beat without spending money on boosters). For the last 9 months though, throughout the day, players were offered extra moves, boosters, rewards, etc. for watching ads. I thought this was pretty fair. It didn’t happen all the time, but when the option was there, it allowed a player to progress past an extremely challenging level without spending money. Not sure what changed but about a week ago, that option COMPLETELY disappeared; not just from the main game but also from the other events. So now, players are forced into spending money ( for moves, boosters, etc.). Here’s the thing- I have no problem spending $5-10 dollars per month on in-app purchases ( which is precisely what I’ve been doing). But if I’m backed into a corner with zero options to progress ( outside of opening my wallet) that’s when I wave goodbye. There are far too many other game options out there.

Don’t buy anything!! They literally create promos to “give” you bonuses. They are impossible to get. They give you the same pieces over and over that you don’t need. Takes 2 hours to reset. Always short one move buy moves only use 1 move but dont get the rest back? I paid for those they are mine. Stop scamming people
