User Reviews

FitPort offers a minimal, readable fitness dashboard with strong Apple Watch integration and privacy; it’s easy to use and affordable. Recurring downsides include unreliable watch syncing, inconsistent step data with Apple Health, limited data visualization, missing sleep data, and a desire for iOS widgets. Addressing these would enhance long-term trend visibility and overall utility while preserving the app’s clean design.
Pros
  • Simple, elegant, minimal UI that’s easy to read and use on iPhone and Apple Watch.
  • Strong Apple Watch integration with watch complications; no subscription and no data collection.
  • At-a-glance, quick-access dashboard that consolidates core health data for daily use.
  • Privacy-friendly and affordable, with family sharing.
  • Acts as a reliable companion to Apple Fitness/Health with a clean, readable dashboard.
Cons
  • Apple Watch syncing/updates are unreliable; complications may not refresh automatically.
  • Steps data often doesn’t align with Apple Health/Activity.
  • Limited data visualization and granularity; few plotting options and lack of long-term trend views.
  • Sleep data is missing or incomplete and developer responsiveness is lacking.
  • Lacks widgets on iOS and there is strong demand for widget/home-screen integration.

I came over from Fitbit (dispute having an Apple Watch for years). I loved the simplicity of the user interface on the iphone. This gives me that experience (and I watch my zone minutes more than my steps)

I’ve had FitPort a very long time and I love it for it’s ease of access and everything in one quick glance set up. I will continue to keep fitPort on my main phone page and consult it several times a day :)
