Overall, reviews flag Ivanti Docs@Work as unreliable with major attachment and compatibility problems, frequent crashes, and limited functionality. Pros

Nice user interface and it is easy to navigate and set up.
Editing capabilities are decent, and the upload feature works well.
Potential productivity/multitasking benefits when the app functions correctly.

Cons

Attachment handling is poor: attachments / mail attachments won’t open easily and require extra steps to access.
Poor compatibility with iOS versions and updates: the app lags updates for new iOS versions and may not work after updates or on older iOS releases.
Frequent crashes and data erasure: the app often crashes and can erase data.
Slow, unintuitive UI and organization issues: users report a slow UI, unintuitive controls, and trouble staying organized or moving files.
Feature gaps and navigation annoyances: no back button, need to log out/in to switch areas, no split screen on iPad, limited sorting, weak Office file support (e.g., xlsb/OneNote) and clunky online editing.

Recent reviews

This thing is required by some companies as part of BYOD (using your own personal iPhone to get your work email, etc.) The reviews should tell you everything you need to know. It’s an absolutely awful application that barely works. It’s rarely updated - iOS 18 was announced in June of 2024, released in September of 2024, but Ivanti wasn’t updated to officially support it until the end of January 2025. Its sole purpose in life is to be a basic “is this device compliant or not” app, which plenty of other services do without requiring a dumpster app like this. If you’re in IT and you’re considering putting this on employee devices, just don’t. It’s a waste of time, energy, and makes your department look like dingalings for not picking a better tool for MDM.

New app is crappy. Can’t open attachments directly. Have to go thru multiple clicks of downloading and searching before you can open document. Please fix this.
