Pros

Lutron/Caséta are expensive but top notch hardware.
The Lutron devices work well and I very rarely need to use the app.
Could not live without it now. How did I ever survive before?

Cons

Frequent connectivity issues / cannot connect to the Lutron system.
App is slow and resource-heavy, with long load times and reloading when returning to it.
Schedules and automations don’t work reliably; manual changes can be overridden and lights may flicker.
Dated, clunky UI with limited navigation; cannot reorder rooms/icons and basic customization is missing.
Missing iOS features like Home Screen widgets and geofencing reliability (and occasional iOS/compatibility issues).

Recent reviews

Every time I open the app and scroll down toward my rooms the app crashes. Everything is up to date and it doesn’t work correctly. Been an ongoing issue with this Lutron app.
