User Reviews

Users find the CDC Vaccine Schedules app convenient for quick reference and useful for professionals, offering a simplified view of vaccine schedules. However, it suffers from stability and usability issues, with frequent crashes and a confusing UI that makes navigation difficult. There is a notable lack of adverse effects data and prescribing information, and important content like COVID-19 and travel vaccines is insufficient or hard to access. Overall, it’s a helpful basic tool when it works, but reliability and content gaps limit its usefulness.
Pros
  • Handy and convenient reference for vaccine schedules, easier than paper.
  • Easy to use with quick, one-tap access to vaccine information (no need to navigate to separate pages).
  • Useful for health professionals (family/pediatric nurse practitioners) as a quick reference.
  • Simplifies the master vaccine chart and helps with patient check-ups.
  • Provides basic vaccine information aligned with ACIP schedules.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and instability; app won’t load or stops functioning, especially after OS updates.
  • Poor user experience and navigation; confusing abbreviations, not intuitive, and content buried or hard to find (e.g., travel/COVID content).
  • Lacks adverse effects data and prescribing information; no adverse effects section or package inserts.
  • Content gaps for critical vaccines (COVID-19, travel vaccines) and overall incomplete coverage.

for all of use who’ve abused cocaine for years frying brain cells, hosting brain worms to eat the remaining functioning cells. Also great advice regarding storing bear meat!

Used to be the go to resource for vaccines. JFK jr. ruined that…

I’ve been a pharmacist for 33 years. The app is just a reiteration of the ACIP vaccine schedules that we all used print from the website. The app is much handier than paper. I think the previous reviews have expected more information (adverse effects, package insert info etc) than the app is designed to provide. If you need detail, you still have to access the website. But in the grand scheme of things this is pretty good basic info app.
