Of the 26 birding apps I have this is one of the best. It’s the most comprehensive and easy to use guide for Europe. The overview lets me home in on the bird group. Then it gets progressively more detailed. The species descriptions are good for field identification, the selection of audio recordings is excellent, the comparison with similar species handy and the range maps very informative. The illustrations are excellent with sufficient coverage of plumage by sex, age and morphs although thorough treatment is beyond the purpose of this field guide. The app works equally well on my iPhone and iPad. Thank you for such an excellent guide.
