Birds of Britain Pro

Birds of Britain Pro is a comprehensive field guide and bird identifier for Britain’s birds, offering 300+ species with multiple plumages, professional songs and calls, and high-quality photos. Users can add their own photos, and the app includes extensive record keeping with iCloud syncing to keep sightings safe across devices. It also recognises the names of over 650 species and subspecies, with a further 350 species that may visit Britain in the future.

Key tools include a fast Bird Finder for identification, searchable by name or part of name, and a shortlist feature for quick access. The 'Here and Now' view shows birds in your area and season. Sightings can be recorded with location, date, notes, and map or list views, exportable as CSV, and shareable via email backups. Apple has selected Birds of Britain Pro for its What's Hot list since launch.
