User Reviews

CxAlloy’s strengths lie in its clean, intuitive UI, strong cross-device use (iPhone, iPad, web), and responsive support, which many users praise. It excels at documenting and tracking commissioning QA, with a clear flow and easy sharing. However, repeated instability is the dominant concern: frequent crashes across actions (uploads, checklist edits, syncing), plus serious syncing problems and sluggish performance. Update-induced startup failures are also repeatedly reported. Despite reliability issues, users who can get past its glitches still value its functionality and collaboration features.
Pros
  • Intuitive, elegant UI designed to minimize clicks.
  • Excellent cross-device support with iPhone, iPad, and web syncing.
  • Responsive, helpful customer support that replies quickly.
  • Strong suitability for commissioning QA documentation and sharing observations.
  • Overall usability and collaboration features that help teams stay organized.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and instability across devices and actions (uploads, checklist edits, syncing).
  • Unreliable syncing and data linking between assets and checklists.
  • Significant performance issues: slow responses and freezing (e.g., equipment slider).
  • Update-related startup/opening failures after new releases.
  • Some features don’t work reliably (batch answering, multiple jobs loading) and cause disruptions.
Recent reviews
Is CxAlloy a perfect product? In my opinion, no, but we’re talking about a very complex system that it accomplishes well and almost always without issue. The iOS app is brilliant I wholeheartedly give it a perfect rating because their support is top notch, responding usually in a matter of minutes, and worst case a couple of hours. I’m still learning tips and tricks every day but I do enjoy being able to utilize the iOS app on iPhone and an iPad while also on a web version on my work laptop and everything on all 3 devices (with a little patience) is updated.

After the recent update I have been noticing that the Equipment slider under Assets/Equipment will freeze after updating the selected equipment checklist or status. Have to select a different tab and then go back into equipment to fix and unfreeze the slider to view the full amount of equipment in the select location.
