foodpanda: Food & Groceries

Foodpanda is constantly messing up my orders. They don’t even reply to my poor ratings. I submitted complaints to which they never bothered to respond.

It was my first order from Panda mart of Foodpanda BD and my order was for four cups of yogurt, but I received only three. One item was missing. I reported the issue immediately in front of the rider and even took a photo of the order on the rider’s bike in front of him as proof. Despite that, they closed the case without providing my refund. This has been a very bad experience for me. Because of this, I may not order from Foodpanda again in the future, and I will also discourage my friends and relatives from ordering through your platform. Moreover, they do not have any customer service phone number, and there is no response from the chat support in the Help Center either. In short, there is practically no proper way to file a complaint or get assistance.

I ordered from a popular restaurant in Taiwan, usually wait time is already around an hour. Knowing so, I placed orde early at 3:45PM, and hoping it will arrive ON-TIME at 5:15PM. But no… we checked the food delivery at 5:20PM and it showed delivery in 20-30 minutes. Okay… its late, but fine. We waited. At 5:40PM, we checked the app again. The delivery time did not decrease. They do not go by simple math! Be careful! The time actually INCREASED to 25-35 minutes!?!!! Wow! So my kids are waiting hungry for nothing! I tried contacting support, but unfortunately, they do not provide immediate support! I wanted to tell them, hey, its not my fault, but we cannot wait any longer. Please cancel the order and lets call it even. I will still order from you guys, its just a one-time issue. But no. No way to cancel… Food was finally delivered at 6:35PM when its supposed to arrive 5:15PM. 80 minutes late. I contacted support and finally! They are willing to talk to me. I told them, hey food is late 80 minutes, we cannot wait so we are already eating outside. Actually kids are almost done eating. So please cancel and refund. Customer support said food was delivered, so he cannot cancel!!!! I was speechless. As I was typing my response, the rep ENDED the conversation. foodpanda app definitely knows how to avoid communication flow and insisted on charging customer when they are unable to honor the anticipated delivery. From the time I ordered (3:45PM) to food was delivered (6:35PM), thats almost three hours. Oh, by the way. The restaurant is actually 20 minutes WALKING DISTANCE from where I wanted the food to be delivered. Consider this as the last time I will be using foodpanda app.
