I made an order and parts of it were missing. I reported it and it said to refund to my gift card balance. The refund came out to 13 dollars, which I was then delighted to discover I cannot use without spending at least 80 dollars to buy more gift cards because they don’t let you combine gift card balance and regular payment and there is not a single order that costs less than 13 dollars. Unrelated: I was trying to make an order and the app had a message that made it look like i was clipping a 5 dollar coupon. I click it and somehow the total went up by 10 dollars. It turns out the “clip coupon” button was actually making me buy 5 of 5 dollars coupons for 20 dollars. The order calculation doesn’t show you an itemized total, just the final number, making it very hard to see what they were actually doing. Just 2 unrelated incidents that made me wholly distrust everything this company does. Amazon and Doordash have nothing on this company when it comes to dark patterns and deceptive practices.
