AudioCopy offers a strong catalog of cheap sound packs and solid editing/recording tools, fitting well into an iOS music workflow. However, it is plagued by crashes, unreliable purchases/downloads, poor cross‑app integration (SoundCloud, IMPC Pro 2, splice), an aging UI with limited updates, and export/transfer problems that hinder reliability and workflow efficiency.

Pros

Great library of sound packs and affordable options.
Basic editing tools and the ability to record within the app.
Considered a core part of many iOS music workflows and core to the user experience.

Cons

Frequent crashes and instability (notably when loading loops/sounds).
Purchases and downloads are unreliable: inability to restore or download bought packs, purchases re-downloading or disappearing after download.
Sign‑in and integration with SoundCloud and other apps (IMPC Pro 2, splice, iMaschine) are unreliable.
Outdated UI and sparse updates/support give the app a non-modern feel and long-term maintenance concerns.
Export/transfer issues (iTunes file sharing problems, moving files to other DAWs, and difficulty removing downloaded sound packs).

Recent reviews

The app doesn’t restore IAP’s if you remove and then reinstall the app. Apple found no problem on their nd, and Retronym has had no response. Definitely spend your money elsewhere.
