Users see potential but report persistent flaws. Positives include usable topos/guidebook content on mobile, gym progress tracking, and offline downloads, plus an ad-free indoor-use experience. Recurrent negatives are a confusing UI, frequent crashes, weak search/discovery for grades or crags, login/authentication issues, and limited gym coverage (notably in the USA). Recent reviews

Downloaded because it’s the best guidebook for the Dolomites. Fantastic info for that; only recommendation is an in-app translation feature as that’s tricky to do. The issue is the inclusion of too many features for the subscription price. Training regimen, leaderboard, I don’t need these to just visit a new climbing area. Please break down the subscription model a bit, then the price might be worth it.

This app could be so much better. It lacks sooo many basic features. You cannot search for climbs at one specific grade only a range. You can not organize boulder by section once you’re in a certain crag and you hardly can even search for crags. Like you go to search a very common area and the crag just doesn’t show up. Not to mention probably ever 2/5x you open the app it freezes. Many people have reached out to the developers to change things but they don’t appear to care or listen. Could be a great app, even better than mountain project.
