its just a sad experience playing this game, especially after having practically grown up with it. maybe my memory is failing me, but there are far more pop ups than gameplay, more ads than gameplay, and ads persist even after completing the "watch ads daily quest." like i'm sorry, but i don't care about whatever promo you have going on. there isn't even an option to not show a popup again. furthermore, you don't even have an option of participating in the daily quest of watching ads, you're just forced into it. i'm aware you can play offline to avoid ads, but shockingly, i have a life outside of the game i'm currently fixated on. the game itself is as great as ever, but my god, the only thing i'm subsisting off of for my 2nd playthrough is purely nostalgia. if i hadn't played this game before, i'd immediately drop it within 20 minutes due to the sad state its currently in.
