Echo Meter Touch Bat Detector

Using the EMT 2 Pro ultrasonic module, this app lets you listen to bat echolocation calls in real time, record WAV files, and automatically identify bats by their calls. The system ships with two models: Echo Meter Touch 2 for nature enthusiasts and the Echo Meter Touch 2 Pro for professionals, offering a higher quality microphone, adjustable gain, and a higher sample rate.

Features include a real-time spectrogram, Real Time Expansion (RTE) for faithful listening, and Heterodyne (HET) listening. You can view recording locations on a map, transfer WAV files to a computer, and share recordings. Auto-ID suggests the two most likely species in real time; note that automated identification is not 100% accurate and is intended for single-bat, low-clutter recordings.
