Standard Guitar Tuner is an easy-to-use tuner that listens with your device's microphone to analyze the string you're playing. It uses fast signal processing for quick, precise tuning and uses a simple color cue: green for a tuned string within ±2 cents, and yellow for ±5 cents.

Beyond standard tuning, it supports multiple custom tunings and lets you adjust the A4 reference to match an orchestra. Custom tunings include Half step down, One step down, One and a half step down, Half step up, One step up, One and a half step up, Drop C, Drop D, Drop A, Drop B, Open C, Open D, Open E, and Open G.

I think this is a wonderful app for all of the people that haven’t learned how to tune their music instrument yet, but it does have a few bugs that could be annoying if you are into the drop chords or open tunings. I use it when I am in a hurry, and it gets me within an earshot on a string or two and then I know how to finish tuning my instrument from playing over the last six months of my new pass time hobby.
