Most free guitar tuners assume you play in standard. This one is built for the tunings you actually use.

Retune is a guitar tuner organized around presets. Standard, Drop D, Drop C, half and whole-step down, Esus2 open, Open G, Open D, and DADGAD are all set up and ready. Pick a tuning, play any string, and Retune figures out which string you mean and shows you how far off you are, so you are not re-entering notes or fighting a chromatic tuner every time you retune.

WHAT IT DOES

Tracks the string you're playing. Play any string and Retune locks to the nearest note in the preset, then holds it steady while you adjust.

Nine tunings, already set up: Standard, Drop D, Drop C, half-step down, whole-step down, Esus2 open, Open G, Open D, and DADGAD. Switch between them in a tap.

Reads in cents. A clean meter shows how many cents sharp or flat you are, and a short haptic buzz tells you the moment a string lands in tune, within five cents of the target.

Runs entirely on device. No account, no sign-up, no network, no tracking. It opens straight to the tuner and works anywhere, including offline.

BUILT FOR ALTERNATE TUNINGS

If you play slide, drop-tuned, open, or modal tunings, you already know the problem: most tuners treat anything but standard as an afterthought. Retune starts from the tuning. Choose Open G for slide, DADGAD for modal folk, Drop C for heavier playing, and the tuner adapts to the tuning instead of making you adapt to it.
