User Reviews

Users praise remote access and cross-region collaboration, but complain about sign-in failures, unstable connections, and pricing changes. UI and documentation gaps plus occasional peripheral issues also surface. Overall the app remains valuable when it works, especially for remote help and work across locations, but reliability and pricing frustration temper enthusiasm.

  • Unreliable connections with drops and noticeable lag.
  • Pricing concerns, including a switch from perpetual licenses to subscriptions.
  • UI/UX and documentation issues, including hard-to-read controls and annoying dialogs.
  • Occasional peripheral compatibility problems (e.g., Bluetooth mouse).

I’ve been using this app since 2022 for personal use, and it has been working well up until now. I just came home from a 5-day trip today, and I was using Teamviewer so I can get some work done while on my trip. Let’s just say, it was an absolute nightmare. When I first tried to connect to my laptop from my phone, it kept loading for eternity until the loading screen just disappeared with the text “Login cancelled” with no further explanation. So, I tried again, and again, and again; every single time, it just stopped loading and wouldn’t connect. That is, until a few attempts later, it just blocked me with the popup saying “Unable to connect. A connection could not be established. Connection blocked.” It was extremely frustrating, but after 30-60 minutes of trying over, and over, and over again, I was eventually able to get in, but it LITERALLY felt like I was playing the damn lottery just trying to do so. Overall, I could barely get any work done while on my trip due to this pathetic excuse of an app, and honestly, giving this two stars is a bit generous but it was only because it worked flawlessly for the first 4 years of me using it; otherwise, I would’ve given this one star.
