Wasatch Backcountry Skiing Map

The Wasatch Backcountry Skiing Map is the iOS version of the popular Wasatch Backcountry Skiing Guide, offering an index to over 1,000 backcountry locations in Utah’s Central Wasatch. It serves as a must-have navigation tool for Utah hikers and backcountry travelers with a familiar map-app interface and a high-resolution topo map.

Using your device’s GPS, the app displays your current location and features a destination arrow on an integrated compass that points toward your chosen backcountry ski location. With a single tap, hundreds of locations can open the Wasatch Backcountry Skiing Guide website for photos and detailed information. The app also shows elevation and coordinates, can email your location, and provides detailed data for more than 200 locations, including skiing difficulty, skinning distance, vertical climb, parking considerations, and more. It does not require cell service to function.
