Live Wind

Vic Wind is a BOM-powered weather extension that delivers real-time wind observations, sea and air temperatures, tide information, sunrise and sunset data, and a two-week tide outlook. Wind data is visualized on interactive maps from weather stations across Victoria and broader Australia, with 10-minute interval history and a countdown to the next observation. A dedicated Weather page provides a detailed 7-day forecast for any location.

Vic Wind is built for outdoor enthusiasts—windsurfers, sailors, surfers, cyclists and more—helping you plan with wind speed, direction, and gust alerts. You can configure up to five wind notifications per device and even enable a do-not-disturb option. Data is primarily sourced from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM), with additional inputs from Bouy Weather, Seabreeze, Coastalwatch, and Port of Melbourne Corporation.
