The possible applications for such an app extend even beyond smoking to other substances and to motivating patients to make lifestyle changes of all kinds. The fact that my patient can't quit cigarettes for $500 total and save $90k is a fact that makes it a no brainier for some of them. Others...I feel like I am planting seeds that will one day bloom...

Now that we live in a time where we rely more and more on smart phones and other such personal devices, it is good to see such technological innovations used in such a creative manner for the purpose of assisting people in living better. Always be open minded to ways to improve the functionality of the app.
