hYYa Digital Footprint Check

New: one privacy score for all four checks, plainer words, and new steps to help protect your device and accounts. Free, private, and nothing ever leaves your device.

Your apps can learn more about you than you think. hYYa Digital Footprint Check shows you what they can see, what they actually did, and how to fix it, in plain words.

FOUR SIMPLE STEPS

1. Footprint: one tap checks what any app can read about your device.
2. Sensitive apps: see which of your apps others can spot, like dating, faith, health or VPN apps, and what that could say about you.
3. Tracker: see which apps used your location, photos, camera or microphone this week, and which ones contacted advertising companies. On a computer, see which apps can watch your screen or keyboard.
4. Check-up: follow simple steps such as updates, weekly restarts and a leaked-password check, then go through your settings one area at a time and take back access you don't want to give.

ONE SCORE FOR ALL FOUR Your privacy score, out of 100, brings the four checks together. Higher is better, and it grows as you finish each check. Add the widget to see your score and your last check at a glance.

FIX IT WITH ME Tap "Fix them with me" and the app walks you through each fix, one at a time, helping you find the right setting fast. Then scan again and watch your score go up.

CLEAR, CALM AND HONEST • A colour chart on every page: red is worth a look, amber is worth knowing, green is fine. • Every finding in plain words: a short headline, one line on why it matters, and how to fix it. • Normal things stay calm. An app talking to its own service, to Apple, or to a weather service isn't flagged. • An honest "only Apple can fix this" when there's nothing you can do. • A weekly or monthly reminder to check again, if you'd like one.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Nothing leaves your device. No account, no ads, no tracking. • Free. No purchases, no subscription. • Open source, so anyone can check how it works.

Meet the detective: he's on every page and has a tip if you tap him.
