The Field: Farm Story

You inherit Grandpa's run-down farm. Mend the house, work the fields, care for the animals and find out what he left you. The weather is the real weather.

Grandpa's farm is waiting for you.

You inherit a farm in a Swiss valley, and it lies in ruins. The roof leaks, the fields have run wild, the barn stands empty. A letter lies on the kitchen table, Grandpa's tools are in the shed, and his notebook tells you how everything works here.

A STORY THAT GOES WITH YOU Meet your neighbours, find out who Nora is, and discover what your grandfather really wanted to leave you. The story runs over three farm years, about four real months, and leaves you time for everything in between.

REBUILD THE FARM Repair the house, the roof and the chimney step by step. Fell trees in the forest and in the valley, mine stone in the quarry, plant, water and harvest. Bring cows, sheep, hens and pigs back to the farm and look after them. Trade with Margrit and Ruedi and build your own furniture and tools.

A FARM THAT LIVES The in-game clock is your real clock, and the weather comes from Apple Weather, matched to your location. It rains on your farm when it rains where you are. Spring, summer, autumn and winter change the fields, the light and the mood. In December you decorate the farm for Christmas.

YOUR FARM, YOUR FACE Design your character with hairstyle, colours and clothes, and give your farm shop a name.

CALM AND FAIR No account, no ads, no tracking. The game works offline; only the weather needs the internet. Purchases are optional and never skip the story.
