SHIFT BRIEFING. Four tickets are on the operator's desk. Work them in any order you like.

TICKET ONE — CORD BOARD. Lines are waiting and each one belongs to a named trunk group. Lift a waiting line's cord with a tap, then tap the trunk frame it belongs to. Every trunk holds a fixed number of pairs and each must be filled exactly before the clock runs out. Sixty-four boards on file: four lines across two trunks at ninety-nine seconds at the low end, fifteen lines across five trunks with no spare pairs at thirty-six at the high end. Hints thin out as you climb.

TICKET TWO — TONE WATCH. A lamp plays a signal's on-off cadence. Watch it, then name that signal from the book before the answer window shuts. Fifty-six levels. Two answers per round widen to six. Written cadence notes are withdrawn after level eighteen. The window tightens from nine seconds to three.

TICKETS THREE AND FOUR — DESK TOOLS. Call Ledger takes a duration, a tariff band and a route class, returns the charge, files it. Pair Finder converts a pair number to its binder colours or back again, and keeps a splice list.

Sound, haptics and progress carry between sessions. That is all.
