Open it once a day. Read a quote. Do one small thing. Come back to your life.

Each day, NOTICE offers you a single quote — drawn from a hand-verified library of writers like Thoreau, Dickinson, Whitman, and Austen — and one small practice: watch the clouds for two minutes, find something red outside, listen for the farthest sound you can hear, organize one drawer and stop. Some practices are quiet. Some are playful. All of them take a few minutes and ask nothing of you afterward.

NOTICE pays attention so its suggestions fit your actual moment. On a rainy afternoon it might invite you to listen for three sounds inside the rain. On a clear night, to step outside and find the brightest star. The splash screen greets you with the day's weather, the current phase of the moon, and the turning of the seasons — painted in soft watercolor on warm paper.

When you're done, write a line about it — or nothing at all. Reflection is always optional. If you like, attach a photo of what you noticed. Everything gathers in a quiet journal you can return to: what you practiced, what you wrote, what you saw, and the exact quote that began that day.

WHAT NOTICE IS NOT

There are no streaks. No points. No badges. No progress rings. Nothing to keep up with and nothing to fall behind on. If you miss a week, nothing happens. The day you come back, there is simply a quote and a small thing to notice.

Your journal, reflections, and photos stay on your device and in your own private iCloud, where they sync across your iPhones. No account to create. No tracking. No ads. No analytics. Your words are never sent to anyone, including us. Weather personalization uses your approximate location only in the moment, through Apple's own weather service, and is never stored.
