Open it from the Lock Screen, Control Center or the Action Button without unlocking, and you're looking at yourself. The screen around the picture glows as a fill light, so your face is evenly lit even in a dim room.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Mirror only shows your front camera on screen. It never takes photos or video, has no account, ads or tracking, and never connects to the internet. The camera is the only permission it asks for.
