Early Eyes explores how visual information changes as babies grow. Move through ages from birth to two years and see an estimate of the detail, contrast and color available during typical infant development. Start with the sample scene that comes with the app, or unlock the live camera to see your own surroundings.

EXPLORE AND COMPARE Choose an age, then press and hold the picture to compare it with the unfiltered view. Pinch the picture or drag the zoom control to explore between a wider view and Life size at arm’s length.

START WITH YOUR BABY’S AGE Optionally save a birth date and how many weeks early your baby arrived. Early Eyes starts at the corresponding age. You can also explore freely without a profile.

KEEP A MOMENT Save a camera frame, revisit it at different ages, and export a picture or comparison clip to share. The app keeps up to 60 saved moments. Saving moments is part of the live camera.

UNDERSTAND THE ESTIMATE An in-app science guide explains the research behind detail, contrast and color, with links to selected studies. Babies vary, and a camera image cannot show their subjective experience. Early Eyes is an educational tool, not a vision test or medical device.

Free to explore. One in-app purchase unlocks the live camera — $3.99 once, no subscription. Customers who bought Early Eyes when it was a paid app keep the camera automatically.
