Somebody in this line-up is guilty. The notes pinned to the board tell you who — not by naming them, but by counting: how many culprits sit in a row, how many among the poker club, how many the suspect next to you can see. Read them, put the two that matter together, and the answer follows.

THE PROMISE Every case is built so that it can be solved by reasoning alone. There is no lucky tap, and no move you have to take on faith: if the clues on the table do not yet prove a card, the board refuses the stamp — whatever verdict you picked. That refusal is the game keeping its word, not the game being difficult.

HOW A CASE WORKS • One suspect is open from the start, and their note is your first clue. • Stamp a suspect CLEARED or GUILTY. A correct call turns that card over — and it starts talking. • Every note is true. Some are evidence, some are just a barber with an opinion. • Clues speak the language of the board: rows and columns, who sits beside whom, and the dossiers of clubs and hometowns you collect as you go. • Monday opens gently. Sunday does not.

FIVE BADGES A DAY A refused stamp costs a badge — a wrong verdict and an unproven guess cost the same, because a cheap guess is still a guess. Five a day, and midnight brings five more. Out early? Watch a short video for one back, or send your board to friends: five votes on the card you are stuck on, and the badges return. Your friends see the board and the clues — never the answer. Nobody can see the answer. That is the point.

THE ARCHIVE Today's case and the six before it are free, always. A subscription opens every case published since day one, in any order, at your own pace.

WHAT IT IS NOT No timers pushing you. No lives you have to buy to keep playing. No wordsearch, no matching, no luck. Just one honest deduction a day, English and Russian, offline once the case is loaded.

Weekly, monthly and yearly plans are offered at the prices shown in the app. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it any time in your Apple ID settings. Any unused part of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
