Sudoku Detective: Murder Case turns a logic grid into a compact detective investigation. Instead of filling the board with numbers, you place suspects in rooms and use written clues to work out where everyone was when the crime happened.

Each case begins with a board, a group of suspects, blocked cells, rooms, objects, and a set of clues. Your task is to read each statement, compare it with the board, and remove positions that cannot be true. When every suspect is placed correctly, the case is solved and the killer is revealed.

The game is built around deduction rather than guessing. A clue may tell you that someone was in a certain room, next to another suspect, away from an object, or unable to occupy a specific row, column, or area. Some clues are useful immediately. Others become important only after you combine them with information from the rest of the case.

Early cases introduce the rules step by step. Later cases require more careful reasoning, because one placement can affect several other parts of the board. You will need to look for contradictions, test possibilities, and follow the evidence until only one answer remains.
